What you need to apply to join our team:

• Be experienced working with young people and their families, community-based services and/or have managerial skills.
• You need to be eligible to work in New Zealand and therefore must be a New Zealand citizen, resident, or have already secured the right to work in New Zealand and hold a valid visa.
• Have a full current New Zealand driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle – Current warrant and registration.

• You will have a robust understanding of Biblical principles. You need to show an ability to identify with the mission and values of Lifepoint Baptist Church.
• As the intergenerational leader you will be able to equip, support, and empower our 0-25s, their families, and communities to grow in their relationship with God, with each other weaving them into the life of our church whanau.
• You’re a leader of leaders, who enjoys working in and with Christ-centred teams,  leading through change toward a shared intergenerational vision. Your leadership will be both big picture and with a thorough knowledge and involvement on the ground.
• You’re an engaging communicator, with good written and oral communication skills. Ideally, you’ve had some experience preaching.
• You’re experienced in working with young people. You can lead a youth group, relate to people with sensitivity, caring, and patience, be tactful, and discrete, and understand the importance of boundaries and confidentiality.
